Early One Morning by Aubree Lane

5.0

This is a complex story about family and love. Annie is a well developed character in that she has had a tough childhood but she has become a successful woman. Marisa is her best friend and is like a sister to her. Marisa's father Larry has treated Annie like a daughter. Dave is Marisa's husband and while he understands Annie needs Marisa, he wants her to find her own life. The story starts with Marisa and Dave on vacation in Hawaii and Marisa finding a man that was the girls' crush in high school. Annie goes to Hawaii to prevent her best friend from doing something crazy. The plot continues to twist and turn and thicken. It is well qritten and flows very well. Aubree Lane has written a unique story about the meaning of family and the lengths one will go to for their family members. I really enjoyed this book. It is a must read. Aubree Lane is a talented story teller.
