This is a great cozy mystery/mild romance for any fan of The Great British Bake Off. Claire is a teacher who enters to compete on the show and ends up trying to solve the murder of one of the contestants with the help of the hunky, broody Viscount on whose estate they are filming the show. Not in a bad way, but the ending was predictable and wrapped up nice and neat. There was no super huge plot twist that came out of nowhere. And no matter how hard I tried I could not get Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith, Noel Fielding, and Alison Hammond out of my head when their (very clear) counterparts were talking in the book. All-in-all a very nice, clean, cozy palate cleanser of a murder mystery and just what I needed.
