Good, fast read. I love this team! Being a fan of the series prior to the tv editions, it has taken a bit to re-work my own mental interpretations of each character to match that of the screen. Not only that, but Sara's background appears to be also undergoing a re-write. However, those are small concerns and don't detract from what is a well written and well researched story. Being a survivor of a violent sexual assault I was glad to see the parts of the story that focused on the victims was not downplayed or brushed aside or merely hinted at or romantised. The section where Sara discusses her past with Faith was especially challenging for myself, but also felt like all the things I have tried to put into words to counselors and to the few people I have tried to talk to about my own experience. Some how in trying to do so, you hurt yourself, and become a victim again. I prefer "survivor" but that doesn't begin to illustrate what you still go through every day, in my case, for decades.
