Dreams Lie Beneath
by Rebecca Ross
Soooo this wasn't my favorite Rebecca Ross book.
It was fine. There wasn't anything necessarily wrong with it, I just didn't feel a big draw to the character's motivations. I didn't feel like Clem's need for revenge felt natural nor did I feel that her transition from hatred to love was natural. I know Rebecca Ross can write a killer love story, but this was just not that.
The magic system was also fine. The curse was fine. Everything was fine. Just a little unremarkable.

I've been wanting to read more Rebecca Ross books after lovingggg Divine Rivals and found the Bookish Box edition of Drams Lie Beneath while perusing Half Priced Books. What a loveellyyyy find!
