I just love the Knockemout series and I am heart broken it’s over but what an ending.
Although I did semi guess the twist of this one, I absolutely loved hearing Sloane and Lucians story FINALLY. Lucians story broke my heart and normally I find myself rolling my eyes at the men being so annoying, indecisive and big children but with this one I found myself sympathising with him a lot more than I did with Knox or Nash. ALSO Sloane is goals, her loyalty, fierceness just everything I loved and I think she is definitely my favourite character of the series.
When reading the last chapter, I felt so sad that we wouldn’t be reading about all the characters in Knockemout anymore, especially after being invested for so long it felt really bittersweet BUT that epilogue and bonus epilogue was such a nice surprise and I felt like everything was wrapped up perfectly, I definitely shed a few tears. I did feel however, like the second book that was just a bit longer than it needed to be, the start of this one was quite drawn out/felt a little repetitive and took a while to get into but I am glad I stuck with it.
I would definitely say Sloane & Lucians story over took the second book in the series for me but I cannot pick between the first and third book so I think I love them both equally. I just cringe every time I read Nash say “Angel” and it just puts me off him
