this is truly the most unhinged novel I've ever read and I don't state that lightly.

(but to get soft for a moment, one of my kids from summer as a camp counselor passed away almost three weeks ago. the grief and the joy and the possibility of this book has began to heal me.)

note: read for ENGL 495 - Senior Capstone: Memory, Trauma, and Nostalgia
