NEVER AFTER: THE THIRTEENTH FAIRY by Melissa de la Cruz is a middle grade fantasy novel. Filomena Jefferson-Cho is your average middle schooler until the day that the events from her favorite book series turn out not to be fiction after all. 

I absolutely loved this book! Melissa de la Cruz’s ability to give familiar fairy tales her own twist made this such a fun read. The characters were endearing and well developed. The witty l storyline and pacing made this book unputdownable. I highly recommend this for lovers of both fantasy and middle grade!
