wow what a cliffhanger! this was a total popcorn book for me. fast and entertaining while still having enough heart to get me really invested in the characters. i LOVE watching todd grow. i didn't think there would be so much nuance in a book like this. the length made it a bit repetitive but overall a great read. 

i wonder if the bioessentialism of the noise will be discussed in later books. i hope so but i won't be surprised if it doesn't happen.
