It was a complicated read for me — the narrator drove me nuts!
Yet I can’t deny how strongly I relate to her! This was my first Lispector, and I was deeply pulled in by the quality of her prose. Like being inside a thought. It was a journey and I think I’ll need to read it again later.
Oh, and I loved Sheila Heti’s closing essay in the version I read. It rounded the whole thing out nicely.
