First off, this is NEW ADULT, not YA. Kerri posted that back in May 2021 on Goodreads. But I definitely went into it thinking it was a YA book. And nope most definitely was not, I was wondering if Teenagers were really different from when I was one.

I love Wrath, there is just something about a good fictional broody and possessive male love interest. This is a mystery wrapped up in a Fantasy Romance book. And I loved it. We rejoin Emilia and Wrath right as they are entering Hell. Emilia has to confront her inner demons throughout the whole book, but especially as she travels through the Sin Corridor on the way to Wrath's palace. You get enchanted talking skulls, and Emilia trying to gather information from the demons both in House Wrath as well as in the other Princes of Hell's houses, with very little success. The angst and growth in Wrath and Emilia's relationship was fantastic in this book I just hope they don't go way backwards in the third book. Yes this is now a Trilogy, I had originally thought this was a Duology so glad I checked before reading otherwise I would've been made about that ending, if you know you know.

If you enjoyed Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa I think you have a good chance of also enjoying Kingdom of the Cursed!
