An (incomplete) list of things I hated about this book:
- the very SERIOUS and PROFESSIONAL party planner who just graduated high school
- the way Preston SET A WORLD RECORD at swim tryouts and then spent most of the book saying “I really messed up. I wasn’t good enough. What if I don’t get into the swim camp”
- the way the narrator would often refer to Preston as “the swimmer” “the swimmer smiled” “the swimmer said” etc.
- the way that Nathan and Preston NEVER say anything that they like about each other (other than that they are hot) but we are meant to believe they are in love
- the way they spend most of this book fighting but we are meant to believe they are in love
- THE WAY THIS BOOK WAS ACTUALLY JUST MAROON 5 FAN FAN FICTION!? Really should’ve come with a warning, Maroon 5 are the third biggest characters in this book!!!!
