Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness
by Richard H. Thaler, Cass R. Sunstein
2.5. I can't recall now how I came across this one, but I was expecting it to be about personal nudges - little things I could do to make my own decisions better. I was less excited about the policy ideas, nor did I really agree with the "libertarian paternalism" stance. The nudge for speakers to stick with their "I'll be brief" promise seemed particularly annoying, since it was in the book's 'Bonus Chapter' - the one after the 'Final Chapter' (and before the 'Postscript'). I was just glad when it was finally over.
