I think I continue to read this series because of the brief glimpses we get of characters seen in the Sandman series. The story itself is interesting enough, and I'll certainly keep reading it, but this is definitely not the best thing Vertigo has put out.

However, I did find a quote in this volume that amused be quite a bit. "You people with your quests annoy the pants off me." - Cain
