Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah

5.0

I really enjoy when authors challenge me to view life through a new lens. By seeing the world through different viewpoints, we gain a greater sense of empathy. Trevor Noah definitely gave me a new viewpoint through his book. By mixing humor, tragedy, and history, he encourages the reader to rethink how they view race and color, and asks us to get out of our Western perspective of the world.
