I saw this on Instagram as one of the steamiest books around. While this was extremely steamy, that’s basically all it was. The rest of it was filled with a relationship that had too many problems.
How Natalya kept giving Sevaystan chances was beyond me. He refused to open up about his past. Flat out refused. When it did come out, it wasn’t very climatic. While it was something that was traumatic, it wasn’t shocking because we already know the type of person he is.
“How could I close you out when I never let you in?”
You can’t build a relationship based on sexual desire alone. You have to open up, learn about each other, and see how you match up outside of the bedroom. While I am all for steamy scenes, I need more in a full length romance novel.
While I am intrigued by reading the next book about his brother Maksimilian, I can’t say that I’m in a rush. I am interested in maybe trying her paranormal series. If you’ve read it, let me know if I should give it a shot.
