I never expected to love this book. I thought it'd be this fun thing that I'd sort of slog through but Greg's narration of Wiseau and the making of The Room is both so real and so surreal. There are a lot of mysteries solved yet so many more left unsolved by the end of the book. The events that happen are messy, mean at times and just plain strange but it's captivating the entire time. There's an unexpected depth and human element with this whole enterprise that you never get from watching The Room. There's something so... American. The American Dream and the ideals of being an American are so varied and odd yet is such a powerful concept especially for immigrants.

I cannot wait for the movie.
