I picked up this book after reading “I’m thinking of ending things” by the same author, which I loved. I didn’t really know what to expect from this one, but I didn’t like it nearly as much. It reminded me of a book I read last year, “natural beauty”, with the body horror vibes, and I think I have realized that I just do not like those kind of books very much. However, I do really like the authors writing style, and am definitely interested in trying out what he writes in the future.
