Dark Emu by Bruce Pascoe

4.0

I finally got around to reading this book after so much positive press - fascinating settler/invader accounts of Aboriginal agricultural practices, land use and housing - stuff that we certainly didn’t learn at school, and information that will hopefully inspire new generations of Australians, including my own, to heal the rift between white and black Australia. I found the odd section slightly repetitive but the well-sourced and detailed descriptions were informative as empowering. Can recommend.
