I don't know how long I've waited to meet Briest but I know the wait was worth it.

I love when the story is structured so that the reader can decipher the situations, be captivated by each sentence, and lose their breath every five minutes. Giana gave us a story full of action, dark elements, and the desire to taste a peach at midnight.

DMW is book # 6 in The Fallen Man Series. It is about the history that unites Priest McKenna; the man everyone fears, and the sweet but hot, Bea Lafayette. A murderer stalks Bea, and Priest will do everything to protect what is his. But on the way, he will enjoy her attention.

I can't contain all the emotions that DMW takes from you. Every song, every place, every moment; I relate it now to this book. I was blown away by Giana's talent for writing dark romance and on every page, we can see the essence of her, permeated in her words. The combination of the book, with the playlist, and with the models that inspire these characters; it's a bomb and you'll probably get burned.

Once again, thank you Giana for sharing your talent with the world.

In real life, nothing is truly white or black, but a combination of both. That's how I love books because they look like we all are. Nobody is better than anybody else and all characters have the freedom to learn from others, to combine and improve.
Priest will understand when I tell him that he is one of my favorite characters in life and that everything I am loves him. The difference between the villain and Priest is abysmal and the writer captures all the essence of him, shapes him, and gives us a real character. The one everyone fears but has a heart at the end of the day. The one who questions his learning as a child and becomes a man when he discovers himself. The one who protects all those who are important to him and interposes his happiness so that they are. That character who wrecks any good boy, and changes your standards.
Bea is possibly the character I most resemble. Apart from Cosima. She understands the two most competing parts, light, and dark. She knew that in order to have what she most wanted, she needed to give a part of herself to complete herself together with Priest. The two have an inexplicable connection that no one questions, well except for a certain killer and Lou for a while, because they know that no one could be better. The Lafayettes have the virtue of finding those monsters and turning them into humans, while they find a refuge and a family.

No sé cuánto tiempo estuve esperando por un libro sobre Priest, pero quiero decir que valió la pena esta espera.
Me encanta cuando la historia está estructurada para que el lector pueda descifrar las situaciones, quedar cautivado por cada frase y perder el aliento cada cinco minutos. Giana nos brindó una historia llena de acción, elementos oscuros y las ganas de degustar un melocotón a medianoche.

DMW es el libro n. ° 6 de la serie The Fallen Man. Se trata de la historia que une al sacerdote McKenna; el hombre al que todos temen, y la dulce pero ardiente, Bea Lafayette. Un asesino acecha a Bea, y Priest hará todo lo posible para proteger lo que es suyo. Pero en el camino disfrutará de su atención.

No puedo contener todas las emociones que DMW te quita. Cada canción, cada lugar, cada momento; lo relaciono ahora con este libro. Me quedé impresionado por el talento de Giana para escribir romance oscuro y en cada página podemos ver la esencia de ella, impregnada en sus palabras. La combinación del libro, con la playlist y con los modelos que inspiran a estos personajes; es una bomba y probablemente te quemes.

En la vida nada es blanco o negro, sino una combinación de ambos. Así me encantan los libros, porque semejan como somos todos. Nadie es mejor que nadie y todos los personajes tienen la libertad de aprender de otros, de combinarse y mejorar.

Priest entenderá cuando le diga que es uno de mis personajes favoritos de la vida y que todo lo que soy, lo ama. La diferencia entre el villano y Priest es abismal y la escritora captura toda su esencia, lo moldea y nos entrega un personaje real. Ese que todos temen pero que tiene un corazón al final del día. Ese que cuestiona su aprendizaje de niño y se vuelve un hombre al descubrirse. Aquel que protege a todos los que son importantes para él e interpone su felicidad para que estos lo sean. Ese personaje que destroza a cualquier chico bueno, y cambia tus estándares.

Bea es posiblemente el personaje al que más me parezco. Aparte de Cossima. Ella entiende las dos partes más competidas, la luz y la oscuridad. Sabía que para poder tener lo que más deseaba, necesitaba dar una parte de ella para completarse junto con Priest. Ambos tienen una conexión inexplicable pero que nadie cuestiona, bueno a excepción de cierto asesino y Lou por un tiempo, porque saben que nadie podría ser mejor. Las Lafayettes tienen la virtud de encontrar a aquellos monstruos y convertirlos en humanos, mientras ellas encuentran un refugio y una familia.
