This book is so diverse, in both its prose and in its collection of writers. Different expressions, different experiences all spoken through the gendered female voice. This book is timely and timeless all at once. I deliberately took my time working through the pages of this book. Not wanting to rush the words, sinking into the meaning and feeling the pain and joy each poem or short essay bought with it. This is a book I would very happily hand out to friends and strangers alike. I know I will be marinating in these powerful poems for months and years to come. I am so honored to have been able to read this via NetGalley.
