if i didn’t read tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow first, i would rate this better; my expectations of Gabrielle's writing were quite high and her writing didn’t quite meet the expectation here. But i get it’s because she was a newer author when she wrote this, so this isn’t exactly criticism.

this is a cute story and a really nice concept that did make me tear up on occasion.

the green sweater part especially

I’m really not a dog person so I wasn’t too pleased with the talking animals thing. why do pets get elsewhere sentience but wild animals don’t like hello? give me talking stickbug
