3 stars is pushing it for me. I can't say I loved the book. It felt very, VERY slow to me. The middle picked up and the tie in at the end was nice. The last chapter is setting up for a sequel. I probably wouldn't recommend it personally, but I'm sure there are some people who would like it. It's a [very] casual, witchy read.
