Wicked Liars
by Laura Lee
This was my first Laura Lee novel, and she did not disappoint. Quite the opposite rather. I had been wanting to read this series but time got away from me, so I finally mapped out enough time to dive in. Let me just say, the ideas that Laura Lee came up with in this book were astounding. She could have went with the basic girl moves to new school and fees bullied but she took it far past that. The story she weaved for Jazmine was so interesting and pulled me in from the very beginning.
Jaz is a very strong, outspoken 18 year old who holds her family near and dear to her. Her mother is killed tragically and is left with a half little sister who then goes to her fathers, one different from jaz. She does everything in her might to make sure she keeps in contact with her sister, Belle, all the while dealing with an evil step sister, her awful boyfriend, and his rude friends. Thank goodness Jaz made one loyal friend, Ainsley.
This story ends on such a cliff hanger I IMMEDIATELY had to start the next one. This book will have too flipping pages so fast, you won’t realize you hit the end until you read...
So cheers Laura Lee, I loved it, and you now have a new reader thanks to this series!
