I am not sure why did I cried at chapter 30 (shine as a parent) and chapter 38 about the funeral. They just hit me in the face or you can say in struck my heart. 3/4 of this book is 100% motivates and inspires me. This book will be among the best reads for those whom are in business and also for those whom want to live a better life.
These are the things I also like from the book.
- "Death is very likely the single best invention in life".
- "If you eat three times a day, you'll be fed. But if you read three times a day you'll be wise".
- Ask yourself "how would I show up today if this day was my last?". Its a profound way to bring some urgency and commitment into your days.
- Investing in learning and getting your skill to world class is the smartest investment you'll ever make.
I listen to the audiobook while reading the physical book itself. It seems like I am in a motivational program! Cheers to the voice narrator!
