Road Kill Girl by Nicole Herbert

5.0

Road Kill Girl by Nicole Herbert was an interesting view of life from a teenager’s point of view. Mar is just trying to graduate high school finally after feeling invisible and unwanted for the last 4 years. All she wants is to graduate and get out of her small Canadian town.

For me, this book was very different from what I normally read, but I found it to be an incredible read. First, the arrogant boyfriend breaks her heart, a dead cat comes into her life, and secrets revealed. There is so much going on in Mar’s life, it becomes overwhelming for her.

The author has a very good imagination, and I would enjoy reading more books by her. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who can relate to a unique way of looking at life from a teenager’s point of view.

I would like to thank Nicole for giving me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
