The Reappearance of Rachel Price by Holly Jackson

5.0

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

So, this book.
AMAZING.
I absolutely adored A Good Girl's Guide to Murder and part of me was worried this wasn't going to live up to that but it did 100%. Holly Jackson did an incredible job here and it was completely un-put-downable for me.

I wasn't planning to read it as quickly as I did, but I flew through it. Some of the scenes in here were extremely tense and had my heart going a million miles an hour. Some of them, I was full of anxiety. I mean this all in a good way of course. Not a lot of books I feel physically for but this one was up there. It definitely gives the same vibes as AGGTM so I 100% recommend it.

The storyline felt a lot more sinister to me than I expected but it was written so well. I barely guessed any of the twists and turns and some of it was completely unexpected. I overall think this is one of the best books that Holly has written and she continues to do some wonderful work.

The characters in this really made it for me, our FEMC I didn't really like at first but as the story went on I really started to feel for her. I really became attached and scared just as she did throughout the book to the other characters. In the end, I really enjoyed being in Bel's head and I would jump at the chance to do so again.

I don't want to give too much away because this is so fun to go in blind.

If you like any of Holly's previous books or are looking for a fun, terrifying, gasp worthy read you HAVE to pick this up.
