The Girl from Rawblood by Catriona Ward
4.0
I struggled with the first half of this one. It has multiple pov's and timelines. The initial character pov had me hooked, and then the book switched characters. This one I found far less compelling, so the middle dragged for me. Once Ward's puzzle pieces started to align, the book completely won me over. Catriona Ward's books are intricate puzzles, and for her debut (I think?), this is very well done. Not perfect, but still beautiful and a sign of things to come.
