Say You'll Remember Me by Katie McGarry
4.0
I actually read the physical copy of this book. I mean, the book cover is purple. I love purple. It was just gorgeous. And for once, the story behind the gorgeous cover was actually mostly good.
I needed a contemporary book after all of the fantasy books I had been reading lately, and this book was what I needed for a break. I liked most of the book. I didn’t like how controlling Elle’s parents were, but I guess that probably comes with having a dad in politics. Everything is all about that perfect image in politics.
And the scene with the dog….I’m not listing the spoiler here, but those that read the book probably will know what I’m talking about. I get why it was done, but did it have to happen like that?
I liked this book even though it seemed to have some instant love going on but it’s a good book to read during the summer or on some type of vacation or break.
It’s a four star read.
