This book was very tense the whole way through. It was not even in the vicinity of fucking around. The interactions between like the politics of the setting and the characters themselves as well as the time the book is set do some really interesting things. Uhhhhh additionally the vibe of like what do you mean I'm autistic, I'm just an unsocialized dog absolutely took me tf out.
