read this for a class + interest in russian lit… i have to say that while i enjoyed it, i was rather let down (particularly by the epilogue? hello?). i guess it’s on me for expecting tolstoy to have something intelligent to say about how women interact with the russian patriarchal system but i was still frustrated. marya and natasha you were done so dirty and i’m sorry <3 it was a good book though and i’m glad i read it.
