2.5 ⭐️ I actually am surprised I didn’t like this book as much as I thought I would, based on the description it is 100% my kinda book. Maybe it was too short? I couldn’t get invested in the characters, they didn’t seem convincing to me. It was a quick read at only 250ish pages so it was easy to finish but I felt very meh about it the whole time. It has great reviews on good reads so my low rating is in the minority.
