The plot is based on lots of non-communication and a lot of not telling the other person stuff under the guise of "protecting" them. That stuff drives me up the wall. There is little character development, they all act exactly the same at the end of the book as in the beginning, and they mostly have one single defining character trait. Ok for an afternoon one-time read.
