I love coming age stories of all kinds, from It to the Sandlots, and this one is just one more that I can say I love. I love the dynamic of Aristotle and Dante and their relationship and how they both grow and change over the course of the novel. That along with the intricate characteristics of Aristotle is quite fascinating and I can't help but say, quite relatable to me. And perhaps that's why I enjoyed this one so much, why I enjoy all coming of age stories so much, they are just very relatable.
on top of this, I'm not a big fan of romance but the side story if Aristotle and Dantes slow romance throughout the novel was great as it went very well with the story.
P.S. I also really liked how they keep the story of his brother kind of secret yet obvious because the reveal of what he did, while a bug deal, doesn't really wow the audience, it's more about how much it affects his parents and shows how they are human just like Aristotle and act a lot like him.
Okay I'm don't with my rambling, basically just read this book, it's really good!
