After giving up on several books in a row, I finally found something that kept my interest with The Family Holiday. I got very invested with the characters and wanting to figure everything out. I am quite disappointed with how much the synopsis gave away, though. It mentions a murder, so you know it's coming, but it doesn't actually happen until the last quarter or so of the book. And then things are wrapped up rather quickly after it. However, the nice twist at the end that I wasn't expecting helped make up for it. I am definitely going to be trying out more from this author.
