The Story of Lee: Volume 3 of 3 by Sean Michael Wilson

2.0

Lee the protagonist is the most enjoyable character, a Hong Kong student studying aboard in Scotland and living with her Scottish boyfriend. Her boyfriend is insufferable, pseudo deep thinker who listens to podcasts and cries? This is the 3rd book in the series and I felt like I was missing out on some things. Like yeah her boyfriend was the actual worst, but
Spoilershe broke up with him because he didn't prioritize school enough and I felt like that had only just started to be a thing (so maybe it had been leading up to it)
. We briefly spend time in Hong Kong and learn about youth activism there, but also how because of a protest her dad was hurt? There are also other young men in Scotland who I also didn't enjoy. Also this is apparently volume 3 of 3 and did not feel like the end. I enjoyed the artwork, it looked like manga. There's sex on a page (under the sheets but still on the page for a few panels), I imagine some college students would like it.
