Drawing Lines by Jeris Jean
4.0

Though I wasn't in love with this author's writing style, Felix and Ethan's romance was undeniably sweet. The two of them had sparks right from the start, despite how oblivious they were about their mutual attraction. As their story progressed, it was fun to not only see the two of them fall in love but also see them take steps towards a more fulfilling career and personal life. While this story engaged me from start to finish, I'll admit that I was never able to connect with the main characters as deeply as I'd hoped. These men weren't particularly closed-off, but I do prefer stories where I get to see the inner workings of the characters' minds and fully understand their thoughts and emotions. With Felix and Ethan, I occasionally got glimpses of their hidden insecurities and deeper feelings, but that was never a big part of the storyline. For a plot-driven romance, I did really enjoy the pacing and overall realism of the story. Felix and Ethan gave me all the fluttery warmth of new love and the satisfaction of seeing these men actively make choices to stay together.

**I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.
