sazerye 's review for:
The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch
by Philip K. Dick
I was very impressed by the multitude of ideas present in this book and very surprised it was originally published in 1964. While the writing was clunky and awkward throughout, it only took a little away from my reading experience. There are so many interesting ideas in a sci fi setting of interplanetary life, manipulation of human psyche and a literal "god complex" but I wish the book was a little longer to hash these things out more. Overall, I found the read to be mostly okay and boring in some parts but given the lasting power of this book I've bumped it up slightly and think sci fi fans could definitely enjoy this.
