The Duff by Kody Keplinger

5.0

The Duff is one of the most known books by Kody Keplinger. It has also become popular recently because it was turned into a movie this past year.
Bianca has been always the weird one in her group of friends; however she didn’t notice it until Wesley Rush, the womanizer of the high school, told her she was her Duff (designated ugly fat friend). This basically meant guys usually approach her in order to get to her friends: Cassie and Jessica. This word started getting Bianca obsessed. And when her ex-boyfriend the one who broke her heart when she was just a freshman returns to town she ended up making out with Wesley. She found that this really helped her reliving stress, and when more problems come she goes straight to Wesley to relieve that extra stress.
The Duff was a compelling and captivating read. It’s one of those books you know how they will finish but you don’t mind because you are having a great time enjoying it. The thing I liked the most about the book was the fact that it treated sex like a normal thing, which is strange in YA books. I liked the way the story progresses and how easy was to read it.
To sum up, I will say The Duff is quite perfect
