I think the story was dragged for too long until it picked up its pace towards the latter parts of the book. There was no character development, just pure revenge, hatred, and loathing. Things going on from one shithole to the other. The writing was not bad. The end wasn’t as satisfying as I thought but maybe it’s enough to leave the audience wanting more.
On the other hand, the author was able to kind of delve into the mind of a sociopath and how their POV would be like. There were so many victims to this story that I just felt bad for them since they were somewhat collateral damage to the whole revenge plot.
