Picnic in Provence: A Memoir with Recipes by Elizabeth Bard

4.0

"I'm not someone who knows a whole lot about contentment; my default settings tend more toward striving and mild panic." If Elizabeth Bard and I knew each other in real life, we would be BFFs. Over this past weekend, I read her follow up book to Lunch in Paris and really enjoyed it. At times funny and at other times heart wrenching as she describes with great honesty her struggle to bond with her son, all ends well as Elizabeth and her husband recreate and adjust their life from bustling Paris to a a small village in Provence. An excellent read.
