Running with Scissors
by Augusten Burroughs
If you like David Sedaris, you will love this. Burroughs writes about his unimaginable life with his mother and her psychiatrist with humor and a sort of detachment that only a kid (or a jaded adult) could have. It is endlessly entertaining and definitely hard to read at certain points. You root for Burroughs even when he makes mistakes.
