Charming story about a teen boy in Japan who lives with his grandfather in a small used book store. When the grandfather dies, Rintaro feels lost but his classmates and a mysterious talking cat appear to help him. Through a series of challenges (“labyrinths”), Rintaro learns what he wants to do with his time and he learns what the books mean to him.
