A comfort read of mine. I don't agree with any of the negative reviews!

This is complex, diverse, and accurate. I highly recommend for anyone who loves historical fiction to dive into this one. It is a little bleaker than the rest of Allende's work, but I think she nailed it. Her storytelling is amazing.
