This book lacked the propriety normally seen in Julia Quinn books and it’s all the better for it.
Olivia heard scandalous rumors of her neighbor Harry. Since Harry works at the war office some of his behavior does come off as suspect. He also realizes Olivia is spying on him from her window next door instantly.
These two have a really cute teasing relationship. The times where they are hanging out the window talking to each other we’re my favorite parts of the book.
