I… I loved this book. This is a book that came at the perfect time of my life. A beautiful book about a tea monk and a robot going on a journey to learn their purpose. A book perfect for anyone that’s ever felt lost, or purposeless.
A story that is not plot heavy, but instead focuses on the individual. Unlike other scifi stories, humans are depicted as beings able to learn from their mistakes and build a future where humanity and nature joyfully exist. Even during the saddest moments, the thread of hope and love is never lost.
In true Becky Chambers style the writing in this book masterful, the story impactful, and the hope is tangible.
Chambers is my favorite author for a reason. If she published the alphabet I would read it.
