Animal Farm is a hugely overrated book that very poorly describes the complexity of communism in Russia and Eastern Europe. I think it deals with how everything ended very close-mindedly not focusing on how the issue of capitalism is not innate and rather forced upon everyone due to the society outside. Perhaps Russia wouldn’t have ended like that if circumstances weren’t the same. 

Also, the writing is way too simple for someone who is claimed to be extremely smart and he barely touches on characterisation.
