Return to Monte Carlo by Cate C. Wells

4.0

This book was the refresher and palate cleanser that I needed. I enjoyed the storyline which I hadn't read a book that featured it in a long time and so reading something with this trope in it was just the refresher I needed and I enjoyed the angst in it a lot. I loved the characters a lot but I did find them quite flawed in a sense. Marco felt too much guilt about something he shouldn't which is his kinks and whatnot (although now that I think of it, it might be the time period this book is set in which didn't really promote acceptance of one's tastes). And Diane never developed a backbone. Those were my only issues with the book but otherwise it was a very engaging and enjoyable read.
