and another 6 star read for the series! wow just wow, I don't think I have ever cried so much while reading a book. So much that I had puffy eyes for days and people asking me if everything was okay lol how do I explain to people that I am crying over a book series/characters that aren't even real? regardless, I think Joey and Aiofe might be my new favorite book couple. Aiofe alone is really the IT girl and if she were real, I would kill to be her friend. The way she always put Joey first, even when his own family did is what made me love her the most. She never gave up on him when she had everyone (even his own family) telling her to let him go. She is the true definition of a ride or die and i wholeheartedly believe that they are soulmates. JOEY LYNCH, MY LOVE, MY POOR BABY!!! The resilience of that man?!?! His journey with addiction and mental health issues shocked me. I knew that he was struggling but never did I think that he would take the turn he did. Being the oldest child myself (I know Darren is technically the oldest child but I don't consider him) I can understand the need to protect and take care of your younger siblings. I think that is why he is my favorite character of the entire series. The fact that Joey and Aiofe end up going to school at Tommen with his siblings is the best outcome! I hope we get to see small snippets of their lives in the next two books. Not just that, but I hope we get to see more of the connections between the friend group as a whole. I love how Gibbs has made it his mission to be Joey's best friend. Now that the entire Lynch/Kavanagh family is on their healing journey, I am super excited to get into Claire and Gibbie's book with Lizzie and Hughie's book at the end of the month.
