This book was just so fun. There are so many different story lines and characters that there is never a dull moment but I never felt overwhelmed by the story. It was witty and I laughed out loud several times. Once I started reading it I did not want to put it down.
Percival Taylor is off to fulfill his destiny when he leaves Eventide to become a pirate. What he doesn't know is that the Dragons Bard already has it planned out for him. This book takes us through his adventure to find out who he truly is with a few twists along the way. I loved the side story lines, especially the one about Professor Nick-Nack and the bottle. The world was just so inventive and the whole story tied together well. There were some cliches but that is part of what gave it such charm. So glad I picked this up.
