I am reading these graphic novels for the first time for the Escape the Readathon - Readathon hosted by bookswithlexi. I am reading these for the prompt - reminds you of a cohost. I can choose from any one of the 19 cohosts but the 2 this series reminds me of is Ry from Rysreadingcorner and Michelle form Michellslibrary. They talk about this series often on their channels. And I thought this would be a great opportunity to read them. I did NOT expect to fall in love with these characters so quickly!

I cannot imagine the struggle of being openly gay at an all boys school. I can understand the struggles of being confused about attraction and reciprocating feelings. As someone who struggles with relating to the opposite sex I think Alice Oseman did a wonderful job portraying the struggle of falling in love with a friend.

I felt every emotion while reading this graphic novel. I loved the friend ship between Charlie and Nick and how we got to watch it bloom into what we hope is more and reciprocating feelings. I fell in love with these characters and I'm 100% cheering them on to succeed and be one anothers person!
